Christmas in New York

We just returned from visiting our families in New York, and couldn't have had a better time! The snow held out until we arrived so we got an enormous storm, which we love! We ice skated. We sledded and played in the snow with Rooney and it was pretty much a 2 week dream, I have to say!

I did my mother in law's hair and makeup for the Christmas Eve party, and isn't she stunning?! I can't get enough of this picture of her and her mother. So lovely.

I can never resist taking a ridiculous amount of pictures of my parents Christmas tree. Classic white lights, paper star wreaths, and a variety of classy ornaments. It just makes me feel so at home.

Josh's broth Zak and his beautiful girlfriend of almost 3 years, Lexi.

I also had my hair cut the day we arrived in Albany after the 10 hour drive. Exhausted but so worth it as I found my favorite new stylist and quite possibly my most favorite haircut to date, though I was really up for anything, and I am so happy to finally have my growing-out hair in some sort of style. I can't wait to go back once it's shoulder length! Eeek!

And last but not least, our little adventurer, Rooney, exploring my parents house and meeting my parents seriously territorial cats. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season (I miss it already!) and I would love to see some links to your holiday posts in the comments!
